On the morning of March 31st, 2022, the off-line ceremony of the electric intelligent excavator SWE240FED independently developed by Sunward was held in Shanhe Industrial City.
The SWE240FED smart excavator, which rolled off the assembly line on the 31st, has two distinctive features: green and smart. It uses batteries instead of fuel and motors instead of engines. It truly achieves “zero-emission” and low noise. It is truly “green” environmental protection equipment. At the same time, the SWE240FED electric intelligent excavator is also transplanted with Sunward’s mature remote control technology, which has the characteristics of long remote control distance, safety, and efficiency.
This equipment is mainly suitable for the urban areas with high requirements for exhaust gas emission and noise, the plateau sites with high and cold surfaces, large temperature differences, and insufficient oxygen supply, and construction sites in relatively confined spaces underground and tunnels. After the remote intelligent module is installed, it is more suitable for operations in places with harsh working conditions and greater threats to human health and life, such as demolition in hazardous and explosive environments, road rushing, debris cleaning and rescue work, etc.
At present, the product has realized three operating modes: local, short-range, and remote, and completed a series of tests on equipment performance and thermal balance. Tests have shown that the electric smart excavator developed by Sunward has a faster response, higher efficiency, and stronger excavation operation than fuel excavators.
According to the previous statistics, the SWE240FED electric smart excavator can work continuously for more than 6 hours after a full charge, and it only takes 1.5 hours to charge from 5% to a full charge using dual guns.
