Sunward revealed its innovations at INTERMAT 2024

Villepinte, April 24, 2024 – At the 2024 edition of the INTERMAT exhibition, which took place from April 24 to 27 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, Sunward stood out with its notable presence. Occupying a vast 900m² booth, Sunward Europe demonstrated its rapid expansion in Europe and showcased its expertise with an impressive array of 26 pieces of equipment, including 7 new products and 1 new concept that drew all the attention.

Expanding the Electric Range
Committed to sustainability, Sunward enriched its lineup with the electric models SWE 60UFED and SWE 10FED, complementing the acclaimed SWE 20FED and SWE 240FED. This extension underscored Sunward’s commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship, offering solutions suitable for a wide variety of construction projects.

Innovations in the Face of Electric Challenges
As the imperatives to reduce CO2 emissions introduced constraints on accessing electricity at construction sites, Sunward offered an ingenious solution with a concept of mobility for electric excavators: the “Mobile Battery Pack on Tracks”. It ensured optimal autonomy for models ranging from 1.0 to 24.0 tons, allowing for autonomous and efficient charging, regardless of the operation site.

Complete Range and the SWDM 80S Drill in the Spotlight
The event served as a showcase for the nearly complete range of Sunward excavators, with 14 models including 4 electric ones, as well as 3 new Cummins Stage V engine midi excavators: a 22-ton excavator (SWE 215F), a 15-ton excavator (SWE 155UF) with a short tail, and a midi wheeled excavator (SWE 155FW), all three powered by a Cummins Stage V engine.

Another new addition that did not go unnoticed was the 27-ton SWDM 80S drilling rig. It marked the inauguration of a division dedicated to foundation equipment at Sunward, affirming its ambition to lead drilling solutions in Europe.

The exhibition also featured a wide range of platforms, including a fully electric scissor lift and a 16-meter electric articulated telescopic platform.

Finally, Sunward presented its compact loaders… But that was not all.

Sunward Europe Expanded Its Product Portfolio
Sunward Europe entered the European market of compact articulated compact wheel loaders with the launch of the SL 10W and SL 06W models. These two loaders, along with the upcoming SL 16W, demonstrated Sunward’s desire to be a comprehensive provider of construction equipment.

Discovering Attachments
Professionals and enthusiasts present could also discover Sunward’s line of attachments, including hydraulic quick couplers (S-system), augers, sorting grapples, and waterproof breakers. Sunward thus reinforced its status as a comprehensive supplier for the construction sector.
