Sunward unveils its most ambitious lineup yet at Bauma 2025

Discover Sunward’s groundbreaking equipment and sustainable solutions at Europe’s leading construction event.

Sunward Europe, a global leader in construction machinery, is gearing up to unveil its most ambitious lineup to date at Bauma 2025, the world’s premier construction trade fair.

Held from April 7 to 13 in Munich, this event will see Sunward occupying an expansive 1,000m² booth (FN 618/10), featuring 25 cutting-edge machines, including 12 exciting new models – including three rotary drilling rigs, a telehandler, three new mini excavators, two new electric machines, two articulated compact wheel loaders, and an articulated boom lift. The showcase underscores Sunward’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and tailored solutions for the European market.

By expanding its offerings in earth-moving equipment, foundation solutions and lifting machinery, Sunward continues to redefine excellence in the construction industry. This year, its focus on electric machinery and tailored solutions for European construction needs is sure to attract attention.

Strengthening foundation solutions

Sunward’s expertise in foundation equipment takes centre stage with three new advanced rotary drilling rigs: the SWDM 85SW, SWDM 135S and SWDM 165S. Ranging from 13 to 24m, these rigs are engineered for precision, reliability and efficiency, making them indispensable for infrastructure projects of all scales.

The Foundation Equipment Business Unit, established by Sunward during Bauma 2022, has seen remarkable growth. The range now includes nine models tailored specifically for the European market, reflecting Sunward’s commitment to addressing a variety of drilling challenges. Visitors to Bauma 2025 will see three of these powerful rigs up close, emphasising Sunward’s dedication to providing innovative, high-performance solutions for complex geotechnical projects.

Innovative lifting solutions

Bauma 2025 also marks the debut of Sunward’s first telehandler designed for Europe, the SWTH 3507. This milestone product offers advanced lifting capabilities and innovative design, perfectly suited for construction and industrial use.

Complementing the telehandler, Sunward introduces its expanding range of scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts. The electric SWSL 0807DC and SWSL 1412DC scissor lifts provide sustainable options for urban and indoor projects, while the rugged SWSL 2023RT rough-terrain scissor lift ensures reliability in challenging conditions. Articulated boom lifts like the new SWA 18JE-P and the SWA 16JE deliver precise manoeuvrability and extended reach, demonstrating Sunward’s leadership in lifting equipment innovation.

Pioneering electric machinery

Sunward’s electric excavator range is a testament to its forward-thinking approach to sustainable construction. Compact yet powerful, the new SWE 10FE and the SWE 20FE are ideal for urban and indoor projects, offering zero emissions and minimal noise. The new SWE 60UFE, a 6-tonne electric excavator, boasts advanced efficiency and quick-charging capabilities, while the robust SWE 240FE, a 24-tonne model, has been fully redesigned with a modern, refined look and upgraded performance to meet the needs of demanding, large-scale applications.

Sunward’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond excavators. The company will showcase fully electric scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts, broadening its portfolio to meet diverse construction demands. These machines reflect Sunward’s innovative spirit and dedication to environmental responsibility.

“Sunward’s electric models are designed to deliver high performance while addressing the growing need for sustainable solutions,” says Arnaud Berthier, CEO at Sunward Europe. “We are proud to present machines that set a new standard for innovation in the construction industry.”

Expanding earth-moving excellence

Sunward’s earth-moving lineup highlights versatility and quality, with 12 excavators spanning from the new micro 1-tonne SWE 08F to the formidable 24-tonne SWE 240FE. Among them, the new SWE 20F-1 features a newly-redesigned cabin for enhanced operator comfort, while the SWE 155FW wheeled excavator offers unmatched flexibility for urban and transport-focused projects. Compact models like the SWE 25UF, SWE 35UF and the new SWE 50UF excel in tight spaces, and the SWE 90UF-2PB and SWE 155UF-2PB deliver robust solutions for complex applications in confined environments.

Further strengthening this range, Sunward presents articulated compact wheel loaders, including the new SL 06W and SL 12W, ideal for material handling and site preparation. The SWL 2830 skid steer and SWTL 4538 compact track loader round out the offering, designed to deliver precision, durability and efficiency across various construction scenarios.
