Sunward celebrates a brace of new UK dealers

Two new UK dealers come on line with Sunward.

Award-winning plant machinery manufacturer Sunward has added two dealers to its ever-growing UK network.

The new recruits serve opposite ends of the UK, being Crowmec in Insch, Aberdeenshire, and Golf and Turf Equipment in Binfield, Berkshire.

As well as their home county, Crowmec will be responsible for Perthshire, Morayshire, and the Highlands and Islands, while Golf and Turf Equipment will look after their home county and parts of Surrey, Oxford and London.

Sunward approached Crowmec as the manufacturer was looking for coverage in the north of Scotland. But Crowmec, who regularly review products to match market trends and demands, did extensive research on the brand before signing up.

Office manager Bethany Crow said: “At first we weren’t sure as Sunward was a new brand in the UK, but we had a good look at their portfolio and decided this was a great product to represent, promote and sell.”
Sunward are now the only excavator manufacturer Crowmec deal with.

Bethany said: “Sunward have high-quality products that exceed our expectations and they invest in research, development and innovation, actively working toward sustainability. They consistently deliver reliable products and maintain quality across their entire product range. They also promptly address inquiries, provide clear information and handle issues efficiently, and are great with warranty support, returns and repairs.”

And it seems Crowmec’s move is already reaping rewards.

Bethany said: “Since becoming a Sunward dealer we have access to a new range of machinery and we feel our target audience has grown because of this. We are constantly looking at new ways to diversify in an ever-changing world, and with Sunward also having machines such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers, this has seen our business open doors to new range of customers”.

Crowmec have already sold a number of excavators and scissor lifts and have new enquiries coming in every week. A few customers, convinced by the quality of the product after a first purchase, are even already phoning to purchase a second machine in a different size to add to their hire fleets and use on bigger jobs.
Crowmec stock a wide range of Sunward excavators as well as scissor lifts which are proving popular with their target audience. They hope to introduce a demo fleet this year to allow customers to get a real feel for the machines.

Golf and Turf Equipment also joined the Sunward network after viewing and testing the equipment at now neighbouring dealer – Buzzard Equipment in Leighton Buzzard, Buckinghamshire – and now stock Sunward exclusively.

Company directors Max White and David White explained that Golf and Turf had been looking to expand its current business from grounds care into the construction and plant hire sector, and the Sunward product and support gave the perfect opportunity to do this.

“After visiting Buzzard Equipment and looking at the machines we decided Sunward would be a good fit. The machines are good quality and Buzzard Equipment rated Sunward highly for both machines and parts availability and for after sales support,” they said.

Rick Still, Country Manager UK and Ireland for Sunward, said: “The addition of both Crowmec and Golf and Turf further strengthens our growing UK and Ireland dealer network. Both companies bring a wealth of experience and have excellent after sales capabilities. We now have 15 official partners and the family continues to grow! I am very interested in talking to any potential, future Sunward dealers as our product offering is expanding quickly.”
